this painting was in project for some time. I was looking for the right size of the wood board for this composition and I've found it:) Very pleased with the finished painting. It took 3 sessions to bring it to finish and finally the painting is ready to hang. As I would say about many other paintings, this painting looks so much more beautiful in person. I hope you enjoy this painting and have a lovely weekend!

Another painting with violin. there is definitely something very special about this instrument that makes me return to it as a subject matter for my paintings. the idea of this small painting started with the violin as a main focus and two purple roses in a jar in the background added romantic feeling to the composition. Please enjoy the painting and have a great day!

Still life with Bosc Pear
Painted in traditional classic style on oil primed wood plaque 7x5x1 inches.
The painting does not need to be framed and is ready to display. The edges are beveled and painted to the extension of the background( see the picture). The wood base has a hanger attached on the back.
All of my paintings on wood I start with preparation of the wood panel surface, sand and prime the surface to assure archival quality of the painting.
Some feedback left for purchases of my paintings on wood:
“beautiful work. has the character of an old European master oil” ( buyer Kmkruze. “Lemons with Leaves” )
“I love it, the painting looks like it's done by old masters, thank you so much” ( buyer Marcgal; “Daisy”)
Have a lovely day everyone~!

Still Life with Quince.
Quince is one of my favorite fruit. Since I remember, my family has widely used this wonderful fruit for making preserves, different deserts, baked fruit halves staffed with walnuts, and i can go on with the list. the fruit has also a beautiful history which you can read if you follow this link http://greekfood.about.com/od/greekcookingbasics/p/prof_quince.htm.
enjoy the reading and have wonderful Labor Day, everyone !!!

this August plum was so colorful, it looked like a rainbow took a shape of a plum ! I have seen and tasted many plums but this one was certainly different and easily made its way to the canvas as you can see :). it was also very sweet and juicy to eat, just delicious !
