Rainbow Plum. Oil on canvas panel 6x6

this August plum was so colorful, it looked like a rainbow took a shape of a plum ! I have seen and tasted many plums but this one was certainly different and easily made its way to the canvas as you can see :).  it was also very sweet and juicy to eat, just delicious !

Old Gazebo at Rehoboth Beach. Oil on canvas panel 6x8 inches

the moment I saw this old gazebo on the bay at Rehoboth Beach, DE where I spent last week with my son, I knew I wanted to paint it. White sand dunes , old pier, the beautiful beaches..all so inspiring to paint..Old Gazebo is my first painting from the trip to Dewey/Rehoboth and I am planning to do a few more referencing my sketches and photos I took. I hope you will enjoy the painting and have a lovely day!
