Another painting featuring onions and this time I decided to paint a duo of Red and White Onions. You would probably agree that the colors are amazing. I love painting onions, which can be challenging at times, especially when I select one with dry cracked skin to make the painting more interesting :)
Painted in oil on Canson canvas paper sheet and the actual size of the painting is 7”x12” . The painting can be matted and framed or just framed as you would any painting done on panels, thick paper, such as watercolor, pastel or a drawing. Also , the edges can be trimmed for framing to a smaller size if needed .

This is a study painted in oil on Canson canvas-like textured paper sheet and the actual size of the painting is 7”x12” . I like painting on canva paper, it’s perfect for studies, demos, sketches, especially when travelling. Trying different techniques and styles is a great exercise which I so much enjoy.
The painting can be matted and framed or just framed as you would any painting done on panels, thick paper, such as watercolor, pastel or a drawing. Also , the edges can be trimmed for framing to a smaller size if needed .
About the substrate:
Canson paper is a thick sheet of professional quality canvas-like texture paper that is primed and perfect for oil or acrylic paints without priming or preparation. Canva-Paper features a canvas-like texture that is close to linen cloth. The natural texture is treated with a high-performance barrier to absorb oil, bonding agents and water evenly, providing superb resistance by the surface paint layer. Acid free. Made in France

Sold - Two Clementines. Oil on linen 4x6 inches
I painted this painting last week, right aftter the online painting demo of David Leffel where he painted a clementine. so I had these two beautiful clementines and decided to paint this warm painting as a follow up on the demo , which was primarily about the form, shadows and light. I hope you like it as I certainly had fun painting it :)

this is my first painting of a turnip and I cant describe how much I enjoyed painting it. the subtle color, texture are amazing . I am thinking about painting another still life and include this beautiful turnip.
