there is a beautiful lake in the area with a walking path going around. I have never walked the entire path as it is too long :) but strolling for a mile or even two , enjoying a spectacular view is very relaxing and enjoyable.   And doing a few paintings en plein air while the weather still permits is a great way to practice for me. :)

Today’s painting  - Purple Bell Flowers. The painting was done on the canvas texture gesso board 8x8x3/8 inches. The picture is not the best for this painting but the best I could do. Another painting of a mini “personal watermelon with pure heart” :-). I absolutely adore these little watermelons and painting them is so much fun. the shape is so perfect and different values of green make painting so much enjoyable.
